Our Approach
Generation WE was born from a simple but powerful belief: every child deserves to feel seen, valued, and like they truly belong.
We bring this belief to life through two intentional initiatives — Stories of Belonging and Voices of Belonging — each designed to nurture empathy, celebrate differences, and create spaces where children feel safe to be fully themselves.

Stories of Belonging is more than a library — it is a doorway to belonging. Our carefully curated collection of over 450 inclusive children’s books, spanning 36 categories and serving ages 2–15, opens hearts and minds. Every title has been thoughtfully read and selected by our team to ensure children can both discover the beautiful diversity of the world around them and recognize themselves within it.
Voices of Belonging carries these stories beyond the page and into lived experience. Through hands-on, multi-sensory workshops offered throughout Charlotte and beyond, we create meaningful spaces where children can connect, learn, and grow together.
