Jimmy Collins is a senior human resources executive and strategic business leader with more than 20 years of experience helping global organizations grow, transform, and build high-performing, inclusive cultures. Throughout his career spanning the automotive, aerospace and defense, and financial services industries, Jimmy has held senior HR leadership roles at companies including TE Connectivity, BAE Systems, and Capital One, where he partnered closely with CEOs and executive leadership teams to scale organizations, strengthen leadership capability, and align talent strategy with business outcomes. Most recently, he led Human Resources for TE Connectivity’s $1.5B Automotive Americas business, where he played a key role in driving organizational transformation, operational excellence, and leadership development across a complex, global workforce.
Jimmy is deeply passionate about creating environments where individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered to contribute fully. His work has consistently focused on fostering cultures of belonging—where diversity of thought, background, and experience is embraced as a catalyst for innovation, growth, and connection. He believes that belonging is foundational not only to organizational performance, but to human potential and community strength.
His commitment to community is reflected through both leadership and service. Jimmy previously served on the Board of Directors for Charlotte Jewish Preschool, where he supported initiatives focused on early childhood development, community engagement, and inclusive learning environments. His involvement with Generation WE reflects his belief in the power of community-driven experiences to help young people develop confidence, empathy, and a strong sense of identity and belonging.
Jimmy and his husband, Daniel, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their two daughters, Kennedy (10) and Luna (3). As a father, he is especially motivated to help create spaces where every child feels valued, empowered, and connected.
