Jimmy Collins is a global human resources executive and strategic business leader with more than 25 years helping organizations grow, transform, and build high-performing, inclusive cultures. Across the automotive, aerospace and defense, and financial services industries, Jimmy has held senior HR leadership roles at TE Connectivity, BAE Systems, and Capital One, partnering closely with CEOs and executive leadership teams to scale organizations, strengthen leadership capability, and align talent strategy with business outcomes. Most recently, he led Human Resources for TE Connectivity's $1.5B Automotive Americas business, where he played a key role in driving organizational transformation, operational excellence, and leadership development across a complex, global workforce.

Since stepping away from that role at the end of 2024, Jimmy's first job has been Primary Dad — being present for his youngest daughter and getting her ready for preschool. Alongside that, he advises senior executives on organization design and talent strategy, coaches leaders through transitions, and has deepened his commitment to nonprofit engagement, impact and governance.

Jimmy is deeply passionate about creating environments where individuals feel seen, valued, and empowered to contribute fully. His work has consistently focused on fostering cultures of belonging—where diversity of thought, background, and experience is embraced as a catalyst for innovation, growth, and connection. He believes that belonging is foundational not only to organizational performance, but to human potential and community strength.

His commitment to community is reflected through both leadership and service. As Executive Board Member and Sponsor Chair for Generation WE, Jimmy leads corporate partnership development and fundraising strategy, including the Founding Sponsor Match Program supporting Unique Sneaks. He also serves as an Independent Nominating Committee Representative for USA Field Hockey, and previously served on the Board of Directors for Charlotte Jewish Preschool. His involvement with Generation WE reflects his belief in the power of community-driven experiences to help young people develop confidence, empathy, and a strong sense of identity and belonging.

Jimmy and his husband, Daniel, reside in Charlotte, North Carolina, with their two daughters, Kennedy and Luna. As a father, he is especially motivated to help create spaces where every child feels valued, empowered, and connected.
